<p>Chasing a modest target of 129 runs, the West Indies management brought in Shai Hope as a replacement for the injured Brandon King at the top of the batting lineup in their playing XI. <p>While Hope played the aggressor&#8217;s role, his partner, Johnson Charles, anchored the innings with a composed 15-run knock. Once Charles was dismissed, Nicholas Pooran joined Hope in the middle, and the duo continued to pile on the misery for the USA bowlers. Pooran played a fluent innings of 27 runs, ensuring that there were no hiccups in the West Indies&#8217; chase. The target was chased down with remarkable ease in just 11 overs, with West Indies showcasing their ruthless batting display.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">WI vs USA: Match Significance and Looking Ahead</h2>



<p>This comprehensive victory not only keeps the West Indies&#8217; semi-final hopes alive but also injects a much-needed dose of confidence into the team. Their next challenge, however, is a daunting one – a clash against the undefeated South African juggernaut.
